"We serve the needs of people with disabilities who live in their own homes in the community, so we're looking for people who want to be companions and teachers and walk beside these people to help them live normal lives," says Kim Dodd, Executive Director of Trinity CHANGE.
The non-profit groups Hope Services, Greater Opportunities, Life Services Alternatives, Jay Nolan Community Services and Pritchett's Living Services also participated in the event, and folks were coming in throughout the morning speaking with the providers and learning more about these wonderful job opportunities.

Local Veterans were honored today during the 96th Veterans Day Parade in San Jose. Thousands lined the streets to salute and celebrate our brave men and women who served or are currently serving our country. It's one of the largest Veterans Day parades in Northern California.
Lexus of Stevens Creek was proud to partner with the American GI Forum and drive World War II Veteran Alvaro Alvarado, Korean War Veteran Juan Jaramillo and Vietnam War Veteran Larry Garcia down the mile-long route through downtown. The parade stepped off at noon and traveled from Santa Clara to Market Street and ended on San Carlos Street. Thousands of Cans Collected During Second Harvest Food Drive

Thank you to all of our generous Lexus guests who made our annual Second Harvest Food Drive a success! We had six red bins full of cans and other food items that were donated to help feed the hungry. During our exclusive RC F launch event at Lexus of Stevens Creek, more than 400 cans were collected in one day!

For the months of September and October, Lexus of Stevens Creek teamed up once again with Second Harvest Food Bank. The goal was to collect 4,000 lbs of food, which equals a Lexus RX! Last year, Lexus guests donated 1,273 pounds of food which created 979 meals. We are waiting on this year's final count and hope to have the final number soon. Thank you again for helping to make a difference in our community.
