JW House's Celebration of Hope

The non-profit organization JW House held JW's Celebration of Hope Benefit on Thursday, April 30th at Villa Ragusa in Campbell. JW House began as the idea of Jan-Willem (JW) Knapen, a boy who in the midst of battling cancer, wanted to do something to help other children and families facing similar situations.
JW House is located on the campus of Kaiser Permanente Santa Clara Medical Center, and the organization is dedicated to keeping families together during medical crises by offering a welcoming home close to the hospital. They also work to provide a caring and compassionate environment that inspires hope.

At the benefit, JW's mother Anne Marie Knapen shared her family's story as well as other heartwarming stories of how the home has made a significant impact in the lives of many families. In 2014, JW House hosted 259 overnight families and 712 day use families.

Lexus of Stevens Creek is proud to support JW House! To learn more about how you can help or to schedule a tour of the home, please visit jwhouse.org.
