Lexus of Stevens Creek Supports Cambrian Relay for Life!

Walking to end cancer! This year's Cambrian Relay for Life was held on April 24-25th at Ida Price Middle School in San Jose. Hundreds walked during the 24-hour relay event... some even walked in the middle of the night, in the rain! As a team, Lexus of Stevens Creek Cares raised $2,170! 71 teams and 640 participants raised a total of $242,398 for the American Cancer Society.

Lexus of Stevens Creek hosted the Penske Pit Stop booth where relay participants and volunteers were invited to Relax, Recharge & Rejuvenate! There was a cellphone charging station, donated by Juno Power as well as coffee donated by Panera Bread, water donated by Zanotto's and fresh popcorn donated by Cash & Carry. All proceeds went to the American Cancer Society.

The Relay for Life event kicked off Friday night at 6pm with the Opening Ceremony. It was a time to celebrate the lives of those who have battled cancer, to inspire hope by sharing recent accomplishments and progress, and to remind everyone that while we are winning this battle, fighting cancer is a year-round priority. During the relay, there was also a Survivors Lap, Caregivers Lap, Luminaria Ceremony and more.

The American Cancer Society Relay For Life is the world's largest and most impactful fundraising event to end cancer. It unites communities across the globe to celebrate people who have battled cancer, remember loved ones lost and take action to finish the fight once and for all. With the support of thousands of volunteers, the American Cancer Society is helping save more than 400 lives a day. And they won't stop until they finish the fight against cancer!
